Hello All,

  I'm Rhonda and this is my first ever blog! I'm really only Facebook friendly - which my kids roll their eyes at. I have no idea how to Instagram or Snapchat or any of those other things - so blogging is new and uncharted territory for me! 

  I was born and raised in Corvallis and have pretty much stayed in the area the last 50+ years. I used to think I needed to leave and go explore - "Stretch my wings" so to speak. Then I realized I was in a great place! An hour to the beach, an hour to the mountains, an hourish to "Big City" Portland, and an hour to Eugene. Perfect! There really is so many cool places to visit and explore here. Beaches, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, concerts, Beachfest, Country Fair.....all adventures just waiting to happen! 

I'm passionate about my children. I love spending time with them! I love sharing places, experiences, and adventures I've had with my kids. One thing we do each year as a family is a camping trip to Clear Lake. It's a large extended family event and such a great time! I also love swimming and floating down different local rivers. Moonshine Park on the Siletz River, Slide Rock-west of Triangle Lake, and the Waterloo Float on the Santiam River in Lebanon are some of my favorites. Marvelous on a hot day!!!!
